Set thirty years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, the series focuses on Johnny Lawrence reopening the Cobra Kai dojo, which causes his rivalry with Daniel LaRusso to be reignited. Good show tho need sequel soon. Getting the original characters from the karate kid is really good. In one other of these user reviews someone stated that Cobra Kai is way better than it has a right to be & I completely concur.

The show is well acted & written. It's far more engaging than your usual contemporary social media pandering nonsense. There are no overly-emotive pseudo PC moral messages; just good old fashioned story telling that allows the viewer to make their own mind up. It's simple really honest writing that doesn't condescend.
